Bio
I was born In Baton Rogue, Louisiana on January 23rd, 1998, and from a very early age, I had an interest in writing and storytelling, finishing entire novels before my eighth birthday.
After moving to Las Vegas with my family in 2003, I spent the next decade or so completely engrossed in literature, and by high school, I knew that I wanted to work in writing.
And so it was that in 2016, when it came time for me to enroll at UNLV and pick a field of study, English creative writing was a natural choice. The courses provided me with invaluable training in writing, composition, and research analysis.
After graduating in 2021, however, I came to realize that the job market values skills that are a bit less ephemeral. Accepting this, I decided to reenroll at UNLV, this time in their Professional Writing program, a field of study I knew that I’d thrive in, with my background in writing and composition, but in doing so, gained precious skills related to business writing, document design, and content strategy, that, in addition to finding a passion for, would facilitate my future professional success.
